Jet in Wonder-Verse
Prologue

“Why do we never get normal undercover assignments?” whined Flight as he zipped up his leather biker jacket while waiting in line to enter the theater.

“Because we’re the special agents that are assigned these kind of things. You knew that when you took the job.” replied Oracle with an annoyed tone. She worked to straighten her costume till it was in a comfortable position for her.

Static looked at the sign above and read it out loud as they waited in line at the theater. “Rocky Horror Picture Show? Why am I the only one not dressed strangely for this . . .?” asked Static while gesturing to his white suit with a colorful comberbun and bow tie.

“You'll see soon enough . . . “said Oracle with a tone that suggested she did not enjoy this.

“Random’s costume doesn't look much different from what he wears everyday.” smirked Flight though Random was within earshot. Random let out a low growl even though that statement wasn't far from the truth. He was comfortable in the black trench and fingerless gloves. From his growl blended into a question.

“When is Jet going to be here?” inquired Random.

“She should of been here when we got here.” stated Oracle.

“You know Jet and her ability to be punctual.” replied Flight. “She's just the pilot, why was she called to do in field work anyways?”

“She is qualified . .any Shush agent thats even just a pilot has to pass the tests.” explained Oracle.

“You don't know that girl's family like I do” said Flight.

“And you haven't read her Shush profile like I have.” stated Oracle. Flight huffed and squirmed in the black leather jacket.

“This jacket is chaffing my wings.” he groaned as a few large feathers drop out of the jacket to the ground. “Why didn't I get to dress up as Riff Raff . .he has looser clothes . . .”

“Then complain to Random about it.” replied Oracle. Flight looked at Random who was focused on a image in the distance.

“Thats okay . .I don't mind it that much . .” retorted Flight. The line moved forward a bit as they were coming up to the ticket booth. “Great . .we’re almost there . .here’s Jet?”

“Jet's coming.” Random spoke softly. The speck he was looking at in the distance was coming closer in the distance. It was the form of Jet, with her wild red hair in the way of her eyes as she came running down the road.

“I'm here , I'm here!!!” yelled Jet as she stumbled her way to the line and came up to the Group. Oracle, Static, and Flight stared at her weirdly.

“Uh . .Jet . .what are you wearing?” asked Flight.

“Oh, the costume store was out of maid costumes so I got this instead” Jet smiled and she turned around showing off her blue dress with a white apron. “The shoes are kinda uncomfortable though” she whined showing her black baby doll like shoes and that she has knee high socks on.

“Jet . .you were supposed to get a maid costume to go undercover” whispered Oracle.

“But they were all out . .a costume party is a costume party . .it shouldn't matter . . .” said Jet as she looked up at the sign Random was quietly pointing at. “Rocky Horror Picture Show? What's that?” asked Jet as Flight smacked his forehead.

“Jet . .your not dressed appropriately for this . . .” sighed Oracle.

“Yeah . .just go wait at that bar across the street from here and let the professionals handle this” added Flight. Random turned and growled at Flight softly for that rude comment.

“But . .but . .okay . .” sighed Jet disappointedly.

“Jet, its alright, anyone could of made the same mistake . . you can watch for suspicious characters walking in from there . .its just as important as being here. Okay?” spoke Oracle without knowing that to Jet it sounded like she was talking to her as if she was a two year old.

“Okay . . . “ faded Jet as she hung her head and left crossing the street to the bar.

“I’m sure she wouldn't of stood out to badly for this mission . . .” defended Static as he handed his ticket to the man behind the counter. He didn't even get a nod of agreement from Random.

“Now remember, keep your eyes peeled. The tip is that this is a new time villain that is going to strike here, so it could be anyone” stated Oracle as they went in.

At the Bar

“Just a Koo-Koo cola please . .” sighed Jet as she sat on a stool at the bar, her elbows resting on the counter and her head in her hands. “I always mess things up . .erg. I wish I was more smarter, and more assertive! See my problem is I don't state my mind. I should of argued I would of fit in fine at that Picture Horror Rocky Show in this. A costume is a costume Right?!?”

“We don't carry Koo-Koo cola here.” simply replied the bartender.

“Just water then . . .” sighed Jet again. “You know sometimes I wish I could just tell Flight off when he says annoying things “Leave it to the Professionals” Phhhhttt, I seem to remember him being a criminal, I on the other hand have always been the good guy. I've spent half my life studying to be one! Well . .maybe not half . .but a lot!”

“Here . . .” the bartender just passed a glass of water to Jet.

“Thanks” said Jet as she took a sip. A male duck dressed in dark colors came by and sat next to Jet.

“Hey there gorgeous . .do you have the time?” asked the duck.

“Ten to” replied Jet without even looking at her watch.

“Ten to what?” replied the guy.

“Tend to your own business loser. “ said Jet as she stuck out her tongue at him.

“Actually I really want to know the time, I have a show to go to soon” he replied.

“11:50” she replied. “Sorry about snapping at you . .”

“Its alright, I'm used to it . .well, I should be off then. Nice talking to you.” the black haired gentleman then walked out to go to the theater across the street.

“Strange fellow . . .” faded Jet as she took a sip of water “then again, I shouldn't talk.”

“If it makes you feel any better the dress you have on is nice. Very Alice in Wonderland.” finally spoke the bartender in the stereotypical consoling people way.

“Thanks” Jet smiled a bit. The room then started to look strange to her. All the colors started to look brighter and brighter and blur into one another “whoa . .I donut feel so good.” spoke Jet as she then collapsed into darkness.

At the Theater

“Jet's in trouble!” Random suddenly sensed then moving his way through the crowd to leave.

“Wait Random!” yelled Oracle. Flight looked down at the big screen of his watch. “He's right, something is wrong.”

“You go with him then, Static and I will stay here to find out about then new time villain” Oracle said. Flight nodded and followed behind Random.

Flight caught up with Random to find him already at the bar and holding the bartender up by the collar of his shirt. Jet was unconscious on the floor.

“I don't know what happened! honest! I just called the ambulance to come!” pleaded the bartender. Random dropped him and turned to Flight for answers. Flight looked down at his complicated watch screen. “There was drug slipped in her drink . .it doesn't say who, and the ambulance isn't going to get here in time, its a very strong drug.”

“What drug?” asked Random his beak paling a bit.

“One that hasn't been made yet at this time, Tezile . .thats why the ambulance isn't going to help anyways because they don't know how to treat it . .no one does yet.” stated Flight.

“We have to get her in a tub of cold water NOW!” command Random. As he picked up Jet carefully.

“There's rooms above the bar that are for anyone that gets too drunk to drive and decides to sleep it off. Go head and go to one.” offered the bartender. Random went up the stairs without even a thank you. Flight slowly followed not knowing what exactly to do.

Random placed Jet in the bathtub with her still dressed and start running the water on cold.

“I take it you know what to do.” spoke Flight as he leaned in the doorway.

“That drug causes your body temperature to go up to 110 and kill the person, we have to keep her cold till it is run through her system.” explained Random as he grabbed a towel and ran it under the cold water to put on Jet's forehead.

“How do you know that?” asked Flight. Random didn't respond and just tended to Jet.

Jet woke up in the filled cold water tub and quickly tumbled her way out. “Coooooooold” she whined. She worked to ring out her dress and looked around to see no one there “I remember hearing Random . .he must be around here somewhere.” she thought out loud. She opened the door and started to head downstairs. She felt something wasn't right and was on her guard. “Random? Anyone?” The place was completely empty. Not only did it lack people, but there was no tables or chairs. Her footsteps echoed through the place. Jet turned to look back up he staircase but it was gone. “Okay . .this is like really weird”

“Oh dear . I'm late!” said a familiar voice.

“Static?” Jet turned a corner, a corner she didn't see there a moment ago. She saw Static in a stylish black suit holding his watch in one hand.

“Oh dear, oh dear . .the Queen will have my head for this.” said what appeared to be Static as he rushed out the bar door.

“Hey! wait!” cried Jet as she followed him as fast as she could. She opened the door and instead of being a street in the city is was a long empty hallway, which at the end of it was a tiny door. Jet blinked a few times and wondered what was going on. “Static? where are you?” From the other side of the small door Jet could hear who she thought was Static mumbling how late he was. Jet blink and sighed. There was no way she could get in that little door.
