Future Ones: It BeginsPart One: Flight
"Easy, I'll do it," She replied with a snort of her gray muzzle. "This is a waste of time Oracle. I don't even think the ones you see as the chosen ones are even it," grumbled the young male duck behind Oracle. "I'm willing to bet my life on it that they are ." said Oracle as she unconsciously twirled a bit of her brown hair with her fingers. "The first one we are going to test is Flight, and this is how the test is going to go . . . ." "Come'on, fill the bags faster!" growled Flight to the bank teller, while holding his trusty old fashioned pistol inches from the frightened man's head. The click of the bank door opening made Flight turn around, with his green trench coat rippling on the ends by the sudden movement. The teller took this opportunity as Flight was distracted, to hit the alarm button. Flight turned and gave the teller a dirty look as then the duck grabbed the two bags, which were both partially filled. He then ran out of there, down the street, hearing cop sirens approaching. Flight let his trench coat sag low on his shoulders still his white feathery wings bursted fourth. Flight looked up a building, knowing to fly up there would keep him out of the police's reach for a while. Flight noticed something from the corner of his eye. A little girl dressed in a pink shirt and cute blue overalls, on the other side of the street playing peacefully with a bouncy ball. Up and down the little gray furred child bounced the ball. Until it hit the curb, sending it at an angle into the busy traffic of the street. The little girl then blindly followed the ball, straight into the dangerous city traffic. Flight saw this, and then looked to the police catching up to him, and then to the bags of money in his hands. "No," he thought "It's to much of a risk .S" He took another step away from the traffic but then changed his mind. He dropped the bags of riches and flew right into the traffic. A semi was coming towards the girl as she reached down for her ball. Flight quickly swooped to grab her and fly them both out of the traffic. He set her down to the ground, and looked to the cops that now had the money in their possession. "I just lost over a million because of you. . ." stated Flight to the child. "There he is!" pointed on of the policemen to Flight, as then the winged duck flew off. "The next one to test is Static Sputterspark . . . ." faded the army print clad female. "Too easy! He's a regular boy scout. There's no need to test him." replied Oracle. "I have an idea . . . ." spoke the young man as he then whispered it to Oracle. Part Two: Static
